Athletes of the Week: Chloe Stampfle and Matthew Key

Congratulations to Matthew Key and Chloe Stampfle for being selected as Athletes of the Week. The Sports and Entertainment Marketing classes at Socastee High School in partnership with the athletic department sponsor this weekly award. This is Chloe’s first year on the Socastee Swim Team but she has been swimming competitively for over five years.

The Socastee Swim Team competed in a Triangular meet with Waccamaw & Georgetown at the Georgetown YMCA on Wednesday, September 27. Chloe Stampfle placed 6th in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 32.01 seconds and 2nd in the 100 yard Backstroke with a time of 1:16.45. Jacob Reynolds was 6th in the 50

Socastee Athletics Support Flood Relief

Socastee High School and its Athletics Programs in cooperation with Socastee’s DECA club will  be collecting donations this week to help families in our community who were affected by Hurricane Matthew and the flooding that resulted from it.  We will be collecting donations at the Homecoming Football Game this Friday against South Florence, at 7:30.
