Braves Varsity Baseball beats Carolina Forest

Braves varsity baseball opened the season at Carolina Forest with a shutout victory 4-0. Austin Schmitz pitched six innings and Jon Yarbrough finished the seventh. Offensively Buc Bacot led the way with three hits with Daniel Covert, Dylan Thompson, Jon Yarbough and Justin Farria adding hits as well.

The boys golf team opened the regular season on Tuesday, March 10th with a match against Carolina Forest and Waccamaw at Prestwick Country Club. Socastee Braves JV Baseball defeats Myrtle Beach

Socastee Baseball started the season strong with a 3-2 win over rival Myrtle Beach. The Braves jumped out early to a 3-0 lead and the defense never gave it up. Caleb Vaught threw six strong innings scattering five hits with Jordan Bridges closing it out.
