The Cross Country team completed the season on Tuesday at the State Meet in Camden, SC. The Men’s team qualified on November 6 along with an individual qualifier from the Women’s team, Kyla Marques. The state meet was postponed from Saturday due to heavy rain and poor running conditions, but the Braves went into the meet ready run. Lucas Davis (16:48) led the Braves followed by Zac Evans (17:03), Javan Rivera (18:15), Kyler Evans (18:43), Brett Devaux (18:53), Hayden Marks (19:09), and Jeffrey Peters (21:45). The Braves finished 20th in the state this season.
Kyla Marques was our sole representative from the female team and she completed the course in 21:31.
The Braves had a successful season this year with 10 seniors graduating. We look to continue building momentum with our returning runners for the 2020 season.
