Multiple Teams · JV FOOTBALL BRAVES

JV football team traveled to Conway tonight for their first contest of the 2014 season.  The Braves played from behind for the entire game with the Tigers leading at the half and the braves scoreless. The Braves made some half time adjustments came out in the second half and held Conway out of the end zone for the entire second half and moved the ball well on the stingy defense of Conway.  When coach Gibbins was ask about the game he said the following ” we expected a few miscues early seeing as how this is our first game together and was on the road.  But once we settled in on defense, we played well and as for offense we moved the ball well on Conway’s stingy defense. I was waiting for the one big play that would put us back in the game but Conway’s Defense was tight. We were able to earn first down just not able to turn them into touchdowns.”
